Abulaiti Adili, MD, attended the Peking University in Beijing, China, and received his medical degree in 1993. Then, he was a resident, and attending physician, trained, and specialized in surgical oncology at Xinjiang Medical University Tumor Hospital in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, China (1993-2001). During his tenure, he received a Master of Oncology degree (2000). Dr. Adili then went to the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden, where he completed a visiting scholarship focused on population based molecular targeted genetic variation research on diabetes and obesity susceptibility (2001-2003). He then relocated to the United States, where he conducted a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania (2003-2006), followed by a postdoctoral fellowship on molecular targeted therapy and immunotherapy and thyroid cancer clinical research at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX (2013-2014). Dr. Adili completed an internal medicine residency at TriHealth in Cincinnati, OH, and a Master of Microbiology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Idaho (2007). In addition, Dr. Adili received board certification in internal medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians.
