Abulaiti Adili, MD, attended the Peking University in Beijing, China, and received his medical degree in 1993. Then, he was a resident, and attending physician, trained, and specialized in surgical oncology at Xinjiang Medical University Tumor Hospital in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, China (1993-2001). During his tenure, he received a Master of Oncology degree (2000). Dr. Adili then went to the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden, where he completed a visiting scholarship focused on population based molecular targeted genetic variation research on diabetes and obesity susceptibility (2001-2003). He then relocated to the United States, where he conducted a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania (2003-2006), followed by a postdoctoral fellowship on molecular targeted therapy and immunotherapy and thyroid cancer clinical research at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX (2013-2014). Dr. Adili completed an internal medicine residency at TriHealth in Cincinnati, OH, and a Master of Microbiology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Idaho (2007).
